Rio greets Naga rebel leaders meet on reconciliation

Kohima: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio welcomed the historic meetings of the leaders of various underground groups at Dimapur, which has resulted in the signing of a joint statement, on Monday.

The statement issued by Press Secretary to Chief Minister Abu Metha said, The leaders have met in the spirit of love, respect and understanding and have agreed to strengthen and broaden the peace process based on uniqueness of Naga history.” (UNI)
