SHILLONG: A block development officer (BDO) has received a text message from GNLA with a demand to pay Rs 5 lakh to the outfit a delayed report said. RC Momin, BDO, C&RD Block, Zikzak lodged a complaint at Mahendraganj police station that on August 24, he received an SMS demanding Rs 5 lakh in the name of GNLA and with a threat of dire consequences if he does not pay.
