Two rebels surrender

TURA: Two militant belonging to the GNLA and Assam-based ULFA surrendered before the Meghalaya police in East Garo hills district on Thursday.

The duo have been identified as K Rabha (21) alias Nobo of the ULFA and Ratan Marak (24) alias Okkaru of the GNLA.

Rabha hails from a village under Kokrajhar in Assam, Marak is a resident of North Garo Hills District.
