SHILLONG: The comm-ittee constituted by the National Green Tribunal   headed by Additional Chief Secretary KS Kropha   and principal secretary MS Rao has informed that  the remaining  quantity  of coal that had been assessed in West Khasi Hills works will be around  1326136 mt. According to a statement issued by the committee, the State Government may issue notification for transportation of the remaining quantity  of assessed coal of  1326136 MT   from West Khasi Hills district   subject to strict adherence to the orders in connection with the  transportation of extracted coal issued on October 7 by the NGT.
