On December 9 around 4.15 pm, personnel of 44 Bn BSF while patrolling at Hat Mawdon Shella Road (EKH), found one SBBL gun with eight cartridges kept hidden near Mowkar Cherra BOP (EKH).
ATM fraud
Konthoujam Lokeshori Devi of JNV Mukhla (WJH) lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on December 8 at about 11 am, one Rohit who claimed to be a staff of SBI Call Centre Mumbai asked her about her bank account details and ATM pin number to which she complied. Later, she received an SMS that an amount of Rs. 49,866 had been withdrawn from her account.
