Moderated by Advocate and Child Rights expert Khalid Khan, and Frederick Roy Kharkongor IAS, Secretary, Education and Sports, Meghalaya as guest of honour, the book release attracted the presence of a cross section of people from Shillong including Social Welfare Departments, NGO’s such as North East Network, teachers from colleges such as St Edmunds, St Anthony’s college, NEHU, Shillong College and Martin Luther Christian University. While highlighting the contemporary relevance of the book released, Kharkongor in his address pointed out that the book could be an important attempt to bridge the gap between parents and adolescents. That set the ball rolling for the intervention of the author who discussed the inspiration and content, followed by an intense engagement between the author and the audience.

The programme also brought out some of the contemporary parental conflict situations in Shillong and attempted to highlight some of the innovative methods in which these issues could be resolved.
