Vehicles move at a snail’s pace due to the traffic jam in Nongstoin on Monday. The absence of a Traffic branch in Nongstoin is a great concern for the people of the town, especially during market days. Till date there is no office and regular staff of the Traffic Police in Nongstoin, where the Police Department has to spare five officers from the armed branch to manage the traffic. With the number of cars increasing by the day, the problem is reaching alarming levels. (Photo by Ronald Stone Syiem)
