An emotional Chief Minister, Mukul Sangma could not hide his tears as he replied to the debate on the Governor’s address.
Sangma could barely control his tears while he spoke about the problems of teachers. He recalled the services rendered by his father, a school teacher in a village at Ampati, 13 kilometres away from his residence. “Even after retirement my father was keen to teach the students of that village,” a visibly emotional, Sangma said. He had to pause several times between his speech to regain his composure.
