True Blood actor Rob     Kazinsky has been     cast in the title role on the science-fiction drama pilot ‘Frankenstein’. The pilot from Rand Ravich and Howard Gordon re-imagines Mary Shelley’s classic monster tale, it was reported. Kazinsky, 31, will play Ray Pritchard, a morally corrupt FBI agent who is given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead.
Now younger and stronger, Pritchard will have to choose between his old temptations and his new sense of purpose.
Pritchard is described as athletic, strong and hand-some – the Frankenstein “monster” who is the reanimated version of a much older Pritchard, a former Marine and county sheriff who was recently murdered.
Pritchard may have a new body, but his mind is still that of a 75-year-old badass curmudgeon. Kazin-sky joins Adhir Kalyan, who has been earlier cast as one of Frankenstein’s crea-tors, Otto Goodwin. (PTI)
