Job panel for physically challenged reconstituted

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Governor has reconstituted the expert committee to provide reservation of four per cent posts for physically challenged people in state government establishments.
A recent notification in this regard said the panel was reconstituted “in connection with reservation of not less than 4 per cent posts in government establishments, and to identify and review the posts to be reserved for persons with disability under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 as per Section 33 (II) of the Act”.
A chairman and seven members from the concerned departments are part of the reconstituted body.
