Ampareen to head state unit of Professionals’ Cong

SHILLONG: Senior Congress leader and MLA from East Shillong Ampareen Lyngdoh has been appointed as president of the Meghalaya Chapter of the All India Professionals’ Congress.
Apart from Lyngdoh, James Lyngwa has been appointed as the vice president and treasurer and Elgiva Rynjah as secretary.
Excited at her appointment, Lyngdoh said, “I look forward to working with the team in our state.”
