Medals galore for Garo Hills in martial arts tourney

TURA: A team of fighters from Garo Hills has once again done the region proud by winning medals in the recently concluded 3rd Annual National Martial Arts Games and Festival, 2018, organized by the Chinese Shaolin Kungfu Federation (CSKF) in collaboration with the Bilcham Martial Arts Academy (BMAA) at Guwahati in Assam. The tournament organized under the banner of the Global International Martial Arts Federation was held at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Open Boxing Ring and Bhugeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium in Guwahati. In the tournament 5 Gold medals, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals were bagged by the Garo Hills team.
