Former Assam DGP Khagen Sharma passes away

GUWAHATI: Former Director General of Police (AGP), Assam, Khangen Sharma passed away at a city hospital here at around  7.15 on Friday evening.

Sharma had been ailing for sometime. An IPS officer of 1982 batch, the Sharma had retired from the service on November 30, 2015.
