SWGH to launch e-service for public events

TURA: South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Ramkumar S will launch the e-Service for application for Grant of Holding Public Events in the district with effect from January 21.
Issuing a notification to this effect, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the main objective of the e-Service is to facilitate the citizens to avail the service in a transparent and citizen friendly manner.
Applications may be given from any Common Service Centres (CSCs), Kiosk, Internet Browsing Centres, Home & Public Facilitation Centre (PFC), etc, and relevant SMS will be triggered to the applicant during processing till completion of certificate to improve interface with the citizens.
The Deputy Commissioner will be the issuing authority of certificates for holding public events in South West Garo Hills district.
