SHILLONG: The state government has sent 12793 samples for tests out of which 12469 came out negative for COVID-19 on Saturday.
The government is awaiting the results of 280 more samples. The state till date had 44 positive cases. The active cases are 20 while 23 persons, have recovered.
A patient from West Garo Hills was tested negative on Saturday.
