94-member contingent to attend natl youth fest

SHILLONG: A 94-member contingent from Meghalaya is slated to participate in the 18th National Youth Festival to be held at the campus of Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana from January 12 to 16.
Over 5000 participants from all States and Union Territories are expected to participate in 18 competitive events during the Festival.
The contingent from Meghalaya would be performing various traditional items like Garo folk dance, Khasi folk song and the Plate dance from Jaintia Hills during the Festival.
