Death of former MLA condoled

SHILLONG: The State Assembly Speaker Charles Pyngrope has condoled the demise of former MLA Dlosing Lyngdoh, who passed away on Sunday. In a condolence message, the Speaker said the State would remember the contributions of Lyngdoh as a Legislator.

Meanwhile, Ri Bhoi District Congress Committee organized a meeting at the residence of the Chief Adviser, Ri Bhoi Congress Committee, DD Lapang on Monday to condole the demise of Lyngdoh. A two-minute silence was observed in the meeting as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

The speakers in meeting felt that the death of Lyngdoh was not only a loss to his family members but to the Congress and the Ri Bhoi district as a whole.

The Ri Bhoi Public Representation Forum (MLA’s and MDC’s ) in the presence of the leaders of Ri Bhoi Dorbar, the Synjuk Ri Bhoi, Shillong, the Ri Bhoi Women’s Association Shillong and the Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) also condoled the death of former MLA.
