Assam ministers submit blue prints for development

GUWAHATI: Heeding to the instruction of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, all the ministers of Assam have submitted separate ‘strategy paper’ incorporating various innovative and pragmatic schemes for uplift of the common man in the state in tune with the focus of the new government in the state. As per the directive of the Chief Minister, all the ministers were to submit separate Strategy Paper of their respective departments for inclusion in the upcoming Budget slated for July next as well as for the five-year period from 2011-2015. The Strategy Papers aim at achieving short-term, medium term and long term goals. The Chief Minister had told the ministers that all schemes should focus on the common man and on the poor and marginalized sections of the society. He urged the ministers to personally supervise the implementation of the people-oriented schemes.
