JSU unit formed in Shillong

JOWAI: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) has extended its area of operation in Khasi and Jaintia Hills by constituting its new unit in Shillong recently.

“The new unit is known as JSU Shillong Circle”, a release issued here said. “We wanted all students from Jaintia Hills studying in Shillong to be united as one and work for the welfare of all Jaintia students,” the statement added.

The new JSU unit was constituted in a meeting held at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shillong with Eleazer C Dkhar as president, Paia Shadap as vice-president, Kyrshan Hame Sungoh as general secretary and others.
