9 college students held in inebriated condition

 SHILLONG: Police on Monday apprehended a group of college students for creating nuisance inside a forest near PGT College in city.

The nine students (seven boys and two girls), who were in an inebriated condition, fought among themselves.One of them was badly injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, on seeing the police, all of them tried to flee the scene.

One of them who tried to jump to escape from the police suffered head injury and broke one of his fingers.

Interestingly, when the police arrived on the scene one of two girls tried to fool the cops by trying to just to walk away from the place.

Later, the police took all the students to Shillong Civil Hospital for medical examination.
