Revision of electoral roll

KOHIMA: The Election Commission of India ordered the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for special summary revision of electoral roll, with reference to January 5, 2012 as the qualifying date.According to the order received by the CEO of Nagaland, the draft publication of rolls would be done by October 1 next, while period for filling of claims and objections by October 1.While electoral rolls in Gram Sabha and local bodies would be done by October 11, special campaign dates with booth level officer would be done on October 9, the order said.
