SHILLONG: Pre-primary school teachers under the banner of Citizen Forum on Human Rights (CFHR) have urged the State Government to increase their salary from the present Rs 1800 per month, at the earliest. In a memorandum submitted to Chief Secretary WMS Pariat here on Thursday, the Forum said there should be a salary hike for the teachers under the Right to Education scheme.
