Naga boy to represent India in Mr Earth

KOHIMA:Opangtongdang Jamir from Nagaland will be representing India for the third edition of international Mr Earth Worldwide in Guatemala City, Central America.Talking to media at Dimapur, Mr Jamir informed that he is officially chosen as the first Mister Earth India and confirmed that he received an invitation from the Producer, General Manager of Mr Earth Worldwide Contest 2011, which is scheduled to be held from October 3 to 10, 2011 at Guatemala, Central America.It was also mentioned that renowned designer Rosou Rhi is Mr Jamir’s official designer for the contest.Hailing from Longkong avillage in Mokokchung district, Mr Jamir(26) has always been an active crusader.(UNI)
