Kolkata: Two men were arrested on Wednesday with fake currency of the face value of around Rs.4 lakh in north Kolkata, police said. The two men have been identified as Kanu Sheikh alias Habibur Sheikh and Ekramul Haq alias Yakub, both hailing from West Bengal’s Malda district. “Following a tip-off, the two were arrested in Jorabagan area when they were about to hand over the notes to a dealer from Andhra Pradesh,” said Special Task Force officer Barinder Kabriwal.
