Los Angeles: Lawyers of Celine Dion has ordered the shut-down of a parody website entitled ‘Ridiculous Pictures of Celine Dion’.
According to the site creator Nick Angiolillo, the 43-year-old singer, “found the blog and did’t like it”. Dion’s lawyers then asked the website, which featured photos of her making silly facial expressions, to close down, reported Us magazine.
“We just got a letter from Celine’s lawyers that the blog has to be shut down,” wrote Angiolillo. The blog owner has also cited that he lacks the financial criteria to fight the lawsuit.
“Though this blog is well within the realm of ‘fair use,’ I don’t have the money or time to get a lawyer to respond. The dream is over,” added Angiolillo.
Fortunately for Angiolillo, his blogging days are far from over because he still runs the blog ‘Star Jones in Hats’, which features images of the TV personality wearing over-the-top headpieces. (PTI)
