Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, said to be the most tech-savvy celebrity in B-town, made the young unit members of Prakash Jha’s Aarakashan literally dance to his tunes.

The wrap-up party with Big B as the DJ had the youngsters grooving to his popular songs Rang Barse and Kabhi Kabhi. ‘Aarakshan’, which is set to release on August 12, was shot in Bhopal for over two months and the entire unit ended up bonding like family.

So when the time came to wrap up the shoot, Bachchan decided to give the hard-working members of the crew a night to remember.

“We were expecting it to be just another wrap-up party, with the usual latest numbers playing endlessly. But the Bollywood icon himself made sure that the party rocked,” a unit member revealed.

The 68-year-old actor was actually mixing up tracks. Whenever he felt that the tempo is slowing down, he would mix it up with peppier beats. From Kabhi Kabhie to Kajrare, the entire unit of Aarakshan danced the night away.

Within minutes, he had everybody, including the normally sober Prakash Jha, shaking a leg on the dance floor.”I never thought I will see my daughter and her friends dance to ‘Mere Angne Mein’ from Lawaris,” Jha said.

Bachchan himself has revealed that since it was the wedding season in Bhopal at the time, there were numerous occasions when he would be sitting in his room, listening to the ‘baraati’ versions of his songs from films like ‘Sharabi’. (PTI)
