Nagaland Police declares May 27 accused ‘Wanted’

Kohima: The Kohima Police has declared as ‘wanted’ the two accused in the murder bid on the life of retired government official Imtila Jamir on May 27.

According to an advertisement in the local dailies here today the Superintendent of Police of Kohima also announced a cash award of Rs 1,00,000 to anybody furnishing information leading to the arrest of the accused.

On May 27 the two accused went to the residence of retired Nagaland Registrar of Cooperative Societies Imtila Jamir and after some argument one of them fired at Ms. Imtila.

However, she escaped with bullet injuries. (UNI)
