Kohima: NSCN-IM president Isak Chishi Swu has appreciated the positive steps taken by the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) and said his organisation has taken cognizance of the resolution on ‘Naga Reconciliation Process’ adopted at the General Council of the BWA in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia July 4-9 this year.

In an appreciation note issued last night, he said the NSCN had acknowledged the steps taken by BWA as a significant contribution for peace. “Your serious concern for reconciliation inspires us,” Swu said.

The NSCN-IM president also highly appreciated the efforts of the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) for their sincere commitment to the reconciliation process taken at the right time. (UNI)
