SHILLONG: KHNAM president Paul Lyngdoh questioned the appointments of the two faculties in the Anatomy department in NEIGRHIMS.
“I am surprised that the appointment of the two faculties were being done without calling for proper advertisement. I had personally gone over through the website of the institute in the last advertisement which came in October 29 2010, no mention were made to the vacancies in the Anatomy department,” Lyngdoh said in a letter addressed to NEIGRHIMS director Dr ME Yeolekar recently.
He, however, requested the director to look into this matter of back door appointments so that the qualified locals are not deprived of equal and fair opportunities of joining the premier health institute.
