Nagaland prepares to celebrate I-Day

Kohima: The Government of Nagaland gears up to celebrate the Independence Day on August 15.

Official sources said here today Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, amidst the presence of other dignitaries, would unfurl the tricolour at the main function at Kohima in the Secretariat Plaza.

The state government decided that the VIPs would hoist the National Flag on the Independence Day at the district and sub-divisional headquarters and all the deputy commissioners and additional deputy commissioners concerned were requested to make necessary arrangements for the function for the Independence Day.
