Drug peddlers apprehended

 JOWAI: The KSU’s Umkiang unit has apprehended three suspected drug peddlers. According to Phanuel Tongper, KSU unit chief, the trio — Md. Ajmul Haque, Md. Bulbul Laskar and Md. Nahmon Uddin — were apprehended while they were on their way from Kalain to Ladrymbai in a vehicle. Ajmol is suspected to be kingpin of the gang. “The drugs were kept insides seven small bottles,” the KSU leader said. The KSU activists later handed over the trio to Umkiang Police .
