NEHUSU condemns blame of theft cases

 SHILLONG: The NEHU Students’ Union has condemned the blame on students with reference to some of the recent theft cases which took place inside the University campus.

It may mentioned that Superintendent of Police (city)M Kharkrang on Monday last told reporters that police found evidence of involvement of sudents in certain theft cases inside the university campus which appeared in a section of the press.

In a press note released on Wednesday , the Union reminded that NEHUTA had earlier expressed concern over the teachers residential thefts which have occurred in the first half of the year and not on the hostel thefts which is totally a different affair.
