Guwahati: The Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum, a legal aid body, on Thursday dashed separate letters to all Members of Parliament urging them to support a stronger Lokpal Bill to check corruption.

“Ensuring a corruption free environment for the voters of your constituency is your prime duty. But do you think that you have been successful in doing your duty properly?” the Forum questioned the MPs in the letter.

The letter has been sent to 800 MPs of both Houses of Parliament, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his ministerial colleagues. (UNI)
