24-hr Jaintia Hills bandh from today

 JOWAI: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) has called for a 24-hour bandh from 7 pm on Monday till 7 pm of Tuesday to protest against the State Government’s failure to fulfill their three demands including setting up of an MBoSE office, an MPSC cell and a blood bank in the district. Asking people to support the bandh the Union clarified that only ambulances, milk vans and press vehicle would be allowed to ply on the roads during the bandh hours.
