JOWAI: A fifteen-years-old girl of Mulang village in Jaintia Hills was allegedly raped by one Iaid Shylla on Friday evening.
Sources informed that Shylla of the same village came to the girl’s residence at around 6:30 pm and found her alone. He forcibly dragged the girl to a nearby jungle and raped her. A complaint was lodged with the Khliehriat Police in this connection.
Sources also informed that the accused was found absconding since Friday.
