SHILLONG: The KSU has urged the NEHU to include the students of 2010 batch in this year’s convocation.

In a memorandum submitted to the university Vice Chancellor AN Rai on Tuesday, KSU NEHU unit general secretary Kitboklang Lyngdoh said that it is really unfortunate to see that students who passed out in 2010 have been left out from this annual convocation.

“As per the notification issued by university it was clearly mentioned that this year’s annual convocation would confer degrees only to those students who passed out in 2011,” Lyngdoh said while adding that this is great injustice meted out to students of 2010 batch for no fault of theirs.
