Youth succumbs to injuries

 JOWAI: Damonki Tyngkan of Saphai village who was badly assualted by miscreants at a coal mine near Latyrke village in Jaintia Hills succumbed to his injuries at KJP Assembly Hospital, Jowai on Tuesday night.

Sources informed, Tyngkan was a tractor driver in a coal mines and he was badly assualted by unknown miscreants on Monday night after which he was rushed to the hospital by some of the coal labourers.

A complaint was also lodged with the Jowai Police in this connection.
