SHILLONG: A grand carnival to commemorate 100 years of Girl Guiding in India will be organized by the members of the Indian Scout Guides Fellowship, Meghalaya Branch on September 9 at the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Headquarters Campus, Pine Mount Ridge, Shillong informed the State Secretary, Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides here on Tuesday.
The Director General Assam Rifles, Lt Col Rameshwar Roy will be the chief guest on the occasion. The fund raising carnival will include food fest, jumble sales and variety of games besides the presence of a musical band party from Assam Rifles.
