Student from Assam killed in group clash

Cuddalore (TN): An engineering student from Assam was killed in a clash that took place between two groups of students from Bihar and Assam, studying at Annamalai University in Chidambaram in the district, police said on Tuesday.

Dharupa Joth Dhatha (23), a third-year student, was killed last night when the students clashed near the University, they said. Two students of the University, including one from Bihar, has been arrested, police said, adding that reason behind the clash was an old enmity. (PTI)
