State Bridge championship concludes

 SHILLONG: Zenith Jubilith Club of Laban won the Board-a-match event while Karmakar’s Four won the Team-of-four-duplicate in the recently concluded 39th Open Bridge State championship organized by the Meghalaya Bridge Association here.

In the open pair category DK Roy and LJ Singh were the winners while Prabash Paul and Ranadhir Dutta were the runners up.

In Board-a-Match, D Dutta, SC Das, I Ali and Anjan Das led Zenith Club to victory as UNBC of New Colony represented by Ajoy Kumar Das, PK Nandy, TK Dutta and N Bhattacharjee, ended runners-up.

Karmakar’s four of Laban, represented by H Karmakar, A Roy Choudhury, LJ Singh and DK Roy were winners in the team-of-four-duplicate while DK Dutta, SC Das, I Ali and Anjan Das seured the runners up position for Zenith Jubilith Club.
