Rally in protest against closing of saw mills

 NONGSTOIN: The Joint Action Committee consisting of NGO’s like KSU,WKHSU,HNYF, RUPA, MLFOA, Ka synjuk ki nongsynshar shnong Nongstoin area, Synjuk ki Misteri, Hima Nongstoin Coal Trader Association,Timber trader Association and Labour Organizations in the meeting on Saturday decided to organize a public rally on November 9 to protest against the district administration’s decision to close all the local saw mills in the district.

Speaking to media after the meeting, Public secretary of the JAC K.John Robert Marwein said that they are opposed to closing down of local saw mills and demand of T.P (transit Pass) from all the local trucks which ply within the district.

The JAC urged upon to all to attend the public meeting to discuss the issue .
