JSU threatens stir over blood bank

 JOWAI: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) has again threatened agitation in Jaintia Hills district if the government fails to comply to the demand for setting up of a blood bank in Jowai Civil Hospital.

Members of the JSU under the leadership of its president Elnathan Pale inspected the Jowai Civil Hospital on Tuesday and found that the government has done nothing to set up a blood bank there.“If the government fails to response within few days, we will announce our own course of action”, Pale said
