SHILLONG: Many people who came to meet Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma at his chamber at the Main Secretariat on Tuesday had a frustrating experience.

Despite giving them an appointment the Chief Minister made them wait for several hours.

Dr sangma had given the RBYF an appointment at 1 pm but arrived at his office only at 1.15 pm. He had also given an appointment to the members of Meghalaya Archery Association (MAA) at 1.15 pm.

Besides this, the Chief Minister had also agreed to meet the local taxi association of Mawprem at 2.15 pm.

The RBYF members finally managed to meet the Chief Minister at 5 pm. It could not be established whether the members of MAA were able to meet Dr Sangma.

The members of the local taxi association left the Secretariat without meeting the CM .

Meanwhile, senior government officials were also seen hanging around at the Committee Room waiting to meet Dr Sangma.

The CM was supposed to have a meeting with senior government officials on matters relating to taxation.
