Polish national dies in N’land

KOHIMA: One Polish national, who came as a tourist to visit Nagaland, was found dead at a tourist lodge in Touphema village near Kohima on Friday morning.

Official sources said the deceased, identified as Szpineta Dariusz Ludwick (40), a businessman, was found dead in the bathroom. The cause of the death was not immediately known. However, post-mortem was being undertaken.

Sources said the deceased, along with twelve others, arrived Kohima on November 27 and had planned to stay till December 7 as per their travel itinerary.

Officials from the Polish Embassy will be arriving Kohima on Saturday to take the body back to his country in Poland, sources added. (UNI)
