SHILLONG: The Additional Secretary, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly has informed that the Committee on Subordinate Legislation under the chairmanship of Mawprem legislator Manas Chaudhuri, which has been entrusted by the Assembly to study the Right to Education Rules (RTE), 2011 and recommend suitable alterations, is holding a special hearing in the Conference Room of the MLA Hostel, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on December 13 at 10:30 am.

The committee has invited all stakeholders and the public to attend the special hearing and give their valuable submissions/suggestions/objections on various aspects of the RTE Rules, 2011.
