UCPF, BSS appeal for BDO’s safe release

 TURA: As growing tension mounts regarding the whereabouts of the abducted Dadenggre BDO P K Boro the United Christian Peace Forum (UCPF) and the Boro Sahitiya Sabha (BSS) have jointly appealed to the GNLA for his safe immediate release.

The UCPF and the BSS In a joint meeting conducted on Monday at Tura have made a resolution to work together for the safe release of the abducted BDO.

Fearing an eruption of communal clash if anything untoward happened to P K Boro the two NGOs have appealed to the Government of Meghalaya to do everything possible to ensure his safe release.

The safe return of P K Boro is imperative for good understanding and communal harmony between the two communities, stated the two NGOs.
