SRVB secretary refutes charges

 SHILLONG: Secretary, Shree Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan (SRVB) KB Ajmera while refuting the claims of Ex-Secretary, SK Agarwala, said that there is no mention or proof that Agarwala has ever handed over the documents in his custody to the elected Executive Committee, SRVB either on November 8, 2007 or to the committee elected thereafter.

Vimal Bajaj and Ajmera, both office bearers of the newly elected committee of SRVB alleged recently that Agarwala had not given the account of his tenure. Agarwala refuted the allegations. Agarwala said that after the tenure of the earlier committee, he handed over the charge to the Election Commissioner, appointed by the Gauhati High Court, Shillong Bench along with all the documents, that is, bank pass book, cheque books etc.

Ajmera clarified that after the Election of SRVB under the supervision of the Election Commissioners appointed by Shillong Bench, Gauhati High Court in the year 2007, a meeting of elected members was held on November 5, 2011 at SRVB, Luckier Road which was also attended by the Election Commissioners, SR Sen, Senior Advocate and Raghavendra Jha, Advocate.
