Lumpyngad beat Tornado in SCL

 SHILLONG: Lumpyngad Cricket Club defeated Tornado Cricket Club by eight wickets in the league match of the Shillong Cricket League First Division played at the Cricket Ground, Polo here on Friday.

Tornado won the toss and reached a score of 119 for the loss of 10 wickets in 25 overs after it elected t bt first. Abhijeet scored 46 of 75 balls while Andrew Thabah took four wickets. In reply, Lumpyngad scored a comfortable 123 for the loss of two wickets in 18.1 overs with Barry Rymbai playing a scintillating knock of 76 not out for the winning side. The next match will be played between Malki Cricket Club and Keating Road Cricket Club.
