36 people join Jail Bharo' campaign in State

Shillong: The Maitsh-aphrang Movement and the Civil Society Women’s Organisation (CSWO) will be supporting the Jail Bharo Andolan of Anna Hazare on December 30 here and 36 people have already registered themselves under Jail Bharo campaign to fight for passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill .

The two orgnisations also appealed to public to come forward and fight against corruption which has been inflicting the society.

”We request every right-thinking individual to come out for a common cause and fight against Corruption, which has been inflicting our society as corruption affects us. Those who want to join the fight against corruption please Join the Jail Bharo Andolan and court arrest on December 30,” CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing said.

Stating that a ‘strong Lokpal’ will check all the funds diverted that actually belongs to public, who are stakeholders of the government, Ms Kharshiing saidgovernment employees will be forced to give time bound services under the Lokpal law. (UNI)
