Pankaj Bora takes oath in RS

NEW DELHI: Pankaj Bora, elected to the Upper House from Assam as a Congress candidate, on Tuesday took oath in the Rajya Sabha.

Bora, who was press adviser to Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, won the recent by-poll necessitated due to the death of Congress member Silvius Condopan.

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) said Bora’s name was unanimously accepted by the party. (PTI)
